Neptune Salad With Watermelon, Shrimp and Strawberry Dressing

Wasabi Tuna Salad
An eastern twist on a western favorite, the use of wasabi horseradish gives a nice compiment to the familiar flavors of tuna fish and mayo. It's simple to make and works well on its own, or as an ingredient in sandwiches or onigiri (Japanese Rice Balls). I've gotten many compliments on this recipe and it's incredibly simple to make. -- posted by Arctides Regalis

Chinese Take out Egg Rolls
The egg rolls often served in Chinese restaurants can be poor imitations of what egg rolls should be. They suffer from what the restaurant industry refers to as "sand-bagging". It means your rolls have probably been made hours in advance, stacked and ready for a reheat after you order it. This process tends to result in soggy or tough exteriors, not to mention higher grease retention. Our version is crispy on the outside with lots of pork, shrimp, and well-seasoned vegetables, and is likely to be the best egg roll you've ever eaten. Japanese Take-Out Tempura With Dipping Sauce
Tempura, the classic Japanese dish of lightly battered and fried vegetables and seafood, reflects all the essential qualities of Japanese cooking using the freshest ingredients and paying close attention to the details and techniques employed. The best tempura is light, crispy, and not greasy. Making it is really not that complicated and is best done as a group activity, so rally the troops. Round up a few hands to cut vegetables while you dip and fry. You'll be an expert at making tempura in no time. From the Take-Out Menu Cookbook. -- posted by TxGriffLover

Thai Shrimp & Asparagus
This is a green-curry based dish and is quite easy to make and equally tasty! I found the recipe in July 2008 edition of Good Housekeeping magazine. I made a full batch and it served me 3 very filling meals, 1 fresh and two leftovers that had kept in the fridge over several days. I really like this recipe because I'm a novice in the kitchen, but I love fresh, rich flavors. This recipe gives you both! Easy, yummy, fun! Note 1: I got frozen shrimp from the grocery store and thawed them overnight in the fridge and then shelled and rinsed them - it made no difference as far as I could tell. Note 2: If you're not particularly concerned about appearance, you need only 1 lime - just be careful that you grate it such that you can still slice it and use the wedges later - less wasteful that way. Note 3: I made my own rice that I had at home instead of buying the recommended pre-cooked kind; the amount and kind of rice you serve with the shrimp asparagus mixture is purely preference. -- posted by Chef #239578

Simply the Best Crab Salad
This recipe is from Jean-Georges, New York. I found it on Millie-YOR's blog. Here are some serving suggestions: 1) In a martini glass put a layer of cubed avocado, cubed tomato, cubed mango, crab, one basil leaf for decoration. 2) For a nice luncheon sandwich put a layer of sliced avocado, mango, crab, on a croissant. 3) Take a tall metal ring and put a layer of cubed avocado, cubed tomato, cubed mango, and crab. Push down and compress. Remove the ring and top tower with basil. You can also put baby greens on the side or small chopped tomatoes. -- posted by Bolistoli

Drunken Shrimp or Chicken or Crawfish Pasta
Wow! Enough said. Actually, this is the most incredible creamy pasta dish ever created. It's courtesy of Chef Gus Martin, from Dickie Brennan's Palace Cafe in New Orleans. An Italian Tuna Sandwich
This is from About.com Italian Cuisine from Kyle Phillips. It's a tasty mayo-free tuna sammich. He says, "You might not think of a tuna sandwich as being particularly Italian.
